I'm a senior consultant within the insurance practice. I specialise in connecting my insurance focussed client base with flexible interim talent who can help to grow their businesses and assist in the delivery of strategic and business change transformation programmes. As part of my role at NSCG I am also responsible for business development across the Lloyd's and London insurance markets.
I started my career in 2000 having previously worked in TV in the mid to late 90's. Since that time I've primarily worked within the Lloyd's and general insurance markets. Prior to my role at NSCG, I've worked at leading recruitment consultancies where I was a principal consultant and part of the leadership executive, reporting into the board. I've had extensive experience managing and building successful teams.
Over the last 20 years I've witnessed huge change within the marketplace and am still excited as ever to work alongside clients and candidates alike in the next stage of their business and personal development.
My overarching goal is to find the best 'fit' for both clients and candidates.
Early on in the process, I identify the key drivers and ambitions of candidates, looking at what makes them tick and what they want for the future - now, and in the medium and longer term. Whether this is an accelerated career trajectory, training opportunities, new challenges or the opportunity to focus on specific industries.
With open-ended communication, I am able to source and match them with roles that meet their aspirations.
From a client perspective, understanding their culture is key to providing them with the top talent from my network. People reach their full potential in an environment where their needs are met - a win/win for both client and candidate.
Very positive - there is a distinct need and appetite to deliver on large programmes of work, specifically across regulatory and digitalisation projects.
My first proper job was working in TV as a runner on several TV shows/adverts
