My role is to help lead and grow the talent consulting division of the business. I work closely with clients, understanding their business challenges and identifying the talent strategies and solutions that deliver on the people outcomes needed to drive the business forward. Whist we have a number of key services, my aim is to ensure that the solutions are specific to the client’s unique situation and that execution is of high quality and brings value.

I have held a series of ‘inhouse’ global and regional talent consulting positions in large complex highly matrixed financial services organisations working with c-suite executives to design talent strategies aligned to business strategies. I have over 25 years of talent experience and as I started my career as a chartered accountant am focused on driving business outcomes from talent initiatives. Experience includes designing and leading virtual large scale skills and transformation programmes implemented through virtual/technology solutions as well as small scale bespoke face to face interactions. I have deep expertise in leadership and team development, organisational change, talent strategy design, technical and non-technical programme design, competency framework and leadership model design, talent philosophy and talent management approaches and a broad expertise in many other aspects of talent consulting. Having worked inhouse for many years I know that the true value of a solution is only unlocked when it is well executed and embedded in an organisation. I also have practical experience of building and leading global teams to execute on talent strategies at scale.
Collaborating with amazing people to deliver tangible outcomes. I enjoy the process of consulting, working with people to unpick the challenge and then creating innovative fresh solutions specific to the challenge. In particular, co-creation of solutions with clients and key stakeholders gives me a buzz.
My favourite pastimes
- Running – outdoors in all weathers. My favourite conditions are in light rain, but I have been know to run in hail and even in snow.
- Outdoor activities – cycling, tough mudders, costal walks, beaches, snowboarding. I find anything with a combination of fresh air and exercise highly enjoyable.
- Family – I have two primary school children so enjoy lots of activities usually evolving around the things above, generally to work up an appetite for some nice food.
